I'm slowly realizing how much work I have ahead of me. This collection is incredibly complex and very detailed. A reoccurring motif in my collection is the flower. I've chosen the flower because it's often identified as a symbol for a woman. Because this collection is about female identity, I'm including this motif in many of the garments. What I've been working on lately, is a series of beaded floral appliques. My color scheme in this collection is black, white, and an ox blood red.
