Since I’ve decided to work on a collection about
butterflies, I’ve been noticing butterflies everywhere. So the other day I was
in the back yard and a couple of butterflies flew past. I thought I would share
some of the pictures I caught of the two.
I think seeing them made me feel even
more inspired. I love the way they float, I love the shape of their wings, and
I love the colors and the marking on their wings. I think that the usual
translation of the butterfly is all beauty, but I think in my collection, to
fully capture the essence of the butterfly, I want to add in a little weird.
I’m pretty excited. But I still need to sketch a little more.
